The Thoughts of Jolomi
Memories Of A Mother
Poetry
She held my hand and said it would be okay
She told me she would never let me stray
Never hesitating to take the blame for my blunders
Shielding me always from life's great thunders
.
She washed away my pains with her tears
She told me stories so I could conquer my fears
She called every day to make sure my nights were good
She gave me strength so I did everything that I could
.
In the midst of sorrow, I could always find her smile
Her words I hold as I wade through a world so hostile
Her memory I will cherish for eternity and thereafter
When I think of her I will always find laughter
