Her love makes me want to be.

They helped me in my time of need.

I am my uncle's nephew
I owe him my college education.

I am my aunties' apprentice
They taught me to cook.  

I am my grandparents' descendant
I owe them my name.

I am my teachers' student
I practice what they taught me.

I am my friends' admirer
I owe them many great opportunities.

I am a product of my environment
I am a product of my past.

I am thankful
To those who paved the way before me.

I am grateful
To those who give me inspiration.

I am thrilled
To be able to learn and progress each day.
